Ethos
I work within a trauma-informed perspective and am committed to and strive to understand the intersectional identities and power structures that exist between and around us. I work to dismantle oppressive systems and support the healing of those experiencing oppression and marginalization. I value you and this informs and impacts everything that I do.

Acknowledgments
I understand that the white, cisgender, able body I live in has granted me access to opportunities that have culminated in my arrival at this place at this time. I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the lands of the people of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and other tribes. I honor that the medicine I have the gift of working with was first used long ago by stewards of the medicine, and that the European colonization of the Americas impacted their way of life and their lives. It is with deep gratitude and humility that I approach this work. I chose to receive my training from the Alma Institute specifically because of their social justice orientation, and I have committed to upholding their principles and values.
I am grateful to the stewards of this land and this medicine. I acknowledge that I continue to benefit from my various privileges, and I live, work, and play, with deep reverence for the land, the medicine, and my teachers.
I am committed to using the privilege of my access to work to make change, living in reciprocity, giving what I can, and providing access to those without this resource. I am committed to supporting the healing of the people of this planet and this planet equitably, to being an ally, and to interrupting the systemic inequalities upon which this society is built. I will always be learning, and I strive to put this learning into action in all areas of my life.
